Miriam Payne - Seas the Day
Friday 17th January saw a packed main room at Pocklington Rugby Club where over 80 people listened to a fantastic talk from Miriam Payne, the local record breaking Atlantic solo rower. She shared her amazing story of her Atlantic row over 3000 miles as well as how she is preparing for her next challenge rowing the Pacific with 2 other women. A journey of over 8000 miles which she starts at the end of February. Over £1000 was raised for our charity thanks to everyone’s generosity. To follow Miriam’s journey please see links below:
